The wine was matured in 225 litre French, Hungarian & American oak barrels for a period of 15 months.
Beautiful aromas of dried prunes and apricots with some hints of mushroom and forest floor. The American oak backs the wine with some “sweetness” of black cherries and vanilla. The palate is opulent with ripe, soft tannins and good acidic balance.
