Platter
The Platter‘s Wine Rating System uses a 100-point scale to evaluate the quality of South African wines, with points awarded based on appearance, aroma, taste, and overall quality.
+Named after Zimbabwean winemaker Joseph Dhafana’s only son, Tinashe, the grapes for the 2019 Chenin Blanc were sourced from two Swartland bush vine blocks as per arrangement with the Mullineuxs, with blocks aged 28 and 30 years respectively and grown on granite and shale soils. Hand harvested and vinified with minimun intervention. The wine was matured in a 2nd fill French oak barrel for 10 months, bottled and left in the bottle for 3 months before being released.
