Tasting Notes
Intense colour, with clean elegant nose. Blackcurrant spice, cranberry and cassis on the palate. Pleasant fine tannin finish with understated structure. A well defined, European style Cabernet, from the best Cabernet area in Stellenbosch. 22 months in barrel, 30% new oak. Bottled unfined; unfiltered. Harvested from vineyards planted in ‘88, ‘00 & ‘13. As well, differing elevations, vineyard ages and soil structures enhance complexity.
