This wine was made from old bush vines grown in Wellington, (35 years +). The wine was raised in concrete egg and amphora to truly reflect only the old vine chenin character. On the nose expect tropical notes of nectarine and ripe pear with a textural complex palate typical of this grape.
Fermented naturally and then matured for 10 months before bottling.
This classic example of old vine Chenin goes great with a variety of seafood dishes and creamy pastas.
