YIELD: 6 – 7 tons/ha
3-5 days on the skins in open concrete fermenters at 28°C – cap punched down manually every 2 hours and then the juice was drawn off the skins after 3 days.
Matured for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels.
A complex, fruit forward wine with deep purple hues. Aromas of raspberry, strawberry and red cherries on the nose. The palate offers layers of red fruits, plums, red currants and chocolate flavours. Elegant tannin structure with a good length and dry finish.
Perfect with burgers, barbequed meat, venison stew, Thai and Chinese cuisine.
AGEING POTENTIAL: 5- 7 years from vintage.
